Our offer

Rent for the length of your adventure

… 9, 12, 15, 18 months or more if it suits you. An all-inclusive monthly fee, a boat ready to go, a team behind you.

Who is it for?

For anyone who wants to live a transformative human adventure during a long break: a career pause, a sabbatical, a professional change, or simply the moment to live a dream.

An expedition to the ends of the earth does not mean harsh living conditions. Choosing an aluminum integral centerboarder built by Alubat, Garcia or Boréal means sailing with confidence, aboard a boat renowned for its sturdiness, its versatility (shallow draft with the board up) and its suitability for the high latitudes thanks to its insulated hull.

What you get

  • A “ready-to-go” sailboat: prepared, serviced, equipped for self-sufficiency (power, water, communications) and contractually inventoried.
  • Comprehensive insurance with a round-the-world option, consistent with the sailing area defined in the contract.
  • A mandatory onboarding of at least two weeks to make you self-sufficient with the boat and its systems, with optional training available.
  • Support in preparing the voyage and defining the program, with our partners (safety at sea, weather, routing, engines).
  • Remote assistance in case of problems and human support throughout the rental period, to avoid the sailor’s “loneliness”.
  • A scheduled technical check after six months and the replacement of defective parts beyond normal wear.

Mandatory onboarding

For the lucky few only!

Objective: standardize good practices, reduce operational risk and make you self-sufficient aboard this boat.

On the program: handover, maneuvers, anchoring, dinghy, general safety, power and water, electronics, weather and watches, onboard routines, routine maintenance (engine, watermaker, pumps, electrics), troubleshooting and repairs, checklists.

Duration: two weeks minimum, three recommended for the largest boats. Additional training (safety at sea, weather, mechanics) can be organized with our partners.

And the price?

Our rates are expressed as a monthly rental fee (excl. VAT), with a firm commitment on the duration. The fee depends on the boat, the length of the commitment and the sailing area: it is provided on request, after a first conversation about your project.

Compare this fee with the costs and time you would have to spend finding a boat, negotiating its purchase, financing a loan, dealing with the paperwork, preparing the boat for the big departure, finding the tradespeople, insuring it for remote areas, learning it without support, maintaining it, refitting it and then reselling it — not to mention the depreciation of a boat that wears out on a round-the-world voyage. All of this, without even counting peace of mind, costs far more than renting.
