The benchmark integral centerboarder
The OVNI 435 is a 100% aluminum sailboat built by the Alubat yard in Les Sables-d’Olonne to a Philippe Briand design. This true bluewater cruiser is fitted with a fully retractable centerboard (integral centerboarder) and a single hydraulically lifting rudder, making it perfectly suited to sailing on every ocean, including the high latitudes thanks to its insulation.
Built in 2001 (hull no. 10), this boat is currently undergoing a complete refit at the Alubat yard: systems check, deck hardware, sandblasting of the hull and deck, repainting. She will be ready to sail again in a few weeks.
